Maybe even the Grown-ups

 

I want the kids to know the world in which we live is a shared illusion generated by beliefs.

I want them to know the way through the world that sets them free and keeps them free from captivity by worldly spirits and powers.

I want them to know and feel the love that creates them, and is for them, and holds them in its light.

I want them to be able to love as much as they have been and are loved.

I want future generations to be able to feel what it is like to live in Love’s presence.

 

Solace is to know that kindness and compassion are beauty, and that love does not die but lives on in us generation after generation. Jesus is not dead, neither is the Buddha, nor any who point beyond themselves to the love which brings them into being. This is my solace in a hurt and hurting.

Heaven is here with us, in us, and around us, though we might fail to recognize or accept it. The past and future are here as witnesses for our hoped-for awakening, and our realization that we are of one mind, one body, Love’s body.

 

I admit I am not a supporter of empires, nations, or republics. I do not derive my identity from any of the current ideas about what this is we are experiencing as a collective reality.

I have landed on the side of love as both initiator and sustainer of life and consciousness. Creator wants love for and from creation and its creatures whatever form they take.

Love completely by choice. No threat, no coercion, an unconditional surrender to love. Jesus does it, Buddha does it. We do it moment by moment or not.

We forget. We remember.

I am not a fan of ideologies and belief systems. I am, however, a follower of the way that transforms life from glory to glory, ever deepening, ever expanding Love's reach and life's awareness of its oneness, so that now our minds are one.

 

We assume we are writing to someone who cares. If we let go of that assumption we want another one to take its place. What we assume does not matter. We assume to avoid not knowing. 

We can only know what we experience, everything else
is make believe. Layered beliefs, interwoven beliefs, keep us captive in a shared illusion about the nature and purpose of being.

We could assume nothing about the world around us but experience it as it presents itself, not judging whether it is good or bad according to those values and beliefs that still cling in our minds.

We can learn to trust that which has brought us this far on life’s journey shall provide us with everything we need to choose a way that sets and keeps our spirits free to promote consciousness, life, and love.
